Pre - Purchase Building Inspections

Pre - purchase inspections are carried out using Australian Standard AS 4349.1 as a guide, and the reports are relative to the age and type of building.

The report is prepared on an “exception basis” i.e. listing only defects as apparent (rather than also reporting on parts of the building which are in an acceptable condition).

A pre – purchase inspection is strongly recommended for all who are purchasing a property as defects not identified prior to the purchase of a property can potentially be expensive and time consuming to rectify once the defect worsens.
